Here's What Kate Hudson Really Eats in a Day

 Kate Hudson is basically the human incarnation of a double rainbow—sure, she's stunning, but there's also this perpetual cheeriness about her, like she'd be the one person who could make you change out of your Pajama jeans and do the nae nae across your living room, no matter how depressed you're feeling.

You might see her and think, I'll have whatever she's having, if it makes me look and feel like that. Apparently, it's a fairly common sensation, too, since she just released a book—Pretty Happy, out now—showing you how to live la vida Hudson.

Here are some of her secrets

 She's Not into Breakfast—At All.


As much as people harp about that a.m. meal being the most important one of the day, it's the hardest one for Hudson to down. "I'm not one of those people who wakes up hungry," she told Self. "...I realize that when I do [have breakfast], I eat less during the day or late at night."

Most mornings, she wakes up to a cup of coffee and a green juice. After a workout—which varies from cycling and running to pilates or a Tracy Anderson routine—she'll down a protein shake.
